You have your own private entrance through sliding glass doors onto your own patio, your own full bathroom, bedroom, living room, reading area, and kitchenette. You do not walk through anyone else's space to get to yours. The owner lives on the separate upper level, is semi-retired, and is around if you need something — but you keep your own hours and come and go without seeing anyone.

Only the laundry area and, optionally, the upstairs kitchen if you want a full stove and oven for a real meal. The upstairs kitchen is available from 6am to 8pm, and other hours are fine with a heads-up. Everything else is private to you.
